India qualified from Cardiff Metropolitan University in 2018 with a BSc Hons in Podiatry. India is a member of the Collage of Podiatry and HCPC registered. India currently divides her time between working at PodMed Podiatry and Cardiff and Vale UHB NHS trust. India is a very capable podiatrist working within the NHS full time India’s daily actives involve routine appointments such as nail cutting, callus debridement and corn enucleation as well as being well practiced in regular nail surgery and biomechanical treatments.
During her time at university India has experienced a wide range of podiatry all over Wales, a highlight of which was observing and supporting in theatre during several podiatric surgeries. India won the ‘Endeavour’ award at university which is in keeping with her hard working and enthusiastic attitude towards all aspects of life.
India is well practiced in working within the private sector of podiatry with a strong family back ground in podiatry, both her mother and father as qualified podiatrists and her mother running her own private podiatry business in Bristol.
India is a keen swimmer, in her younger years competing at national level pool events and has now moved to open water events, competing in distance swimming. India also enjoys extreme sports such as snowboarding, wakeboarding and paddle boarding. India’s natural physical nature has led her to an interest in biomechanics and recognising the importance of keeping active through the support of good orthoses, strapping and rehabilitation techniques.
