What is a Musculoskeletal (Biomechanics) Assessment
The musculoskeletal system supports the body and causes movement and biomechanics is the application of mechanical principles to the human body. The aim of the assessment is to assessing how the musculoskeletal system moves and how forces act on the body.
Gait analysis is an integral part of assessing the musculoskeletal system. We will ask you to walk or run along a walkway assessing the way the foot functions.

Treatments may involve prescription of orthoses (insoles), massage therapy, strengthening and stretching exercises.
